I have been trying to install Easy Media Creator 8 and I keep getting an error message as follows:
Error 1401. Cannot create key \.cif\... Make sure you have proper rights etc.

I am logged in as administrator, I have turned off all antivirus, firewalls etc.  I have a good download of the files etc. etc.  I can find no references in any of the help materia, knowledgebase, etc. for Error 1401
