Using Vista Home Premium i have had no luck installing preloaded software from Dell I beleive this is a special version for Dell products to include on thier machines. The program has been removed and reloaded many times all with the same result as the program is activated it goes to a online registation screen and then stops. No registration is completed nor can the program be used.
I have had Dell techs attempt to rectify issue to no avail. Any suggestions? Also when trying to register the product on Roxio's site I am told the product key is invalid. Unsure how to proceed.

Go here and see if you have a key listed

Dell version is highly modified and Dell support may be the best route for your problem but you could try the 'clean install' routine from one of the pinned posts at the top of this forum

Have you tried this http://kb.roxio.com/search.aspx?URL=/conte...7CR&PARAMS= .
The above is for the full retail version.
Not many users on here have Dell OEM versions, have you tried Dells forum http://en.community.dell.com/forums/
