I just bought the Video Capture USB and was able to capture video from VHS. The file plays nicely on my PC (XPSP2). However, when I use MyDVD to make a DVD it loops on the title page. It does that on my PC and 2 other set-top DVD players. On the other 2 players I am able to fast forward past the title, but the sound skips on one player.
Any ideas? Thanks

Glad to hear that capture works but it has nothing to do with your project.
You used MyDVD or MyDVD Express to Author and burn your DVD. That is where this behavior is set. Revisit that program to fix looping.
Audio skipping on one Player points to cheap media. Verbatim is a name that is not associated with any complaints.
Some points to ponder:
Get a disc or 2 of DVD RW media to learn and experiment with – it is reusable
VideoWave is your Editor after you capture.
MyDVD is your Authoring or burning program to create a Menu and burn the disc.
Look through the Tips & Tricks here as well as V10 and V9 for useful info and so you don't reinvent the wheel.

Thank you Jim for the advice. I was using MyDVD Express. I since found just MyDVD and I will try that on a DVD-RW. It also appears to be easier to use.

and I will try that on a DVD-RW
If your going to try a RW I would suggest a +RW over -RW, the later is a strange bird.
I also have a older JVC Settop DVD player that won't play any RW media...
