Hope someone can help...
I am running an older mac g3, with 256 mb and using Toast 5.02 with a LaCie fireware burner- This has worked for years with no problem. Now I get this error:

The drive reported an error, sense key = medium error
Sense code = 0x 73, 0 x 03

The Drive reported an error
Sense Key = ABORTED COMMAND
Sense Code = 0 x 04
LOGIC UNIT NOT READY, CAUSE NOT REPORTABLE

The final numbers sometime change. I was also getting an overrun error about the 2 gb cache. I hear the disc spin, stop, spin and the progress bar doesn't move. Is there a place for me to turn to?

A medium error means the drive can't write to the disc. It could be bad media or media that isn't fully supported by the drive's firmware. It could be the laser needs to be cleaned on your drive (using a laser-cleaning disc). It could be the drive is failing.

Check the LaCie site to see if a firmware update is available for your drive.
