It WAS spotty - but now when I got from my standard VHS to my ADS Tech PYRO A/V link to Roxio I either get no video or it freezes and locks up etc. The monitor (TV) shows that the video is working. Any reported problem with this Converter box and Roxio? I notice they co-brand their box with the Adobe project.

Did you try Windows Movie Maker?
Some capture devices lack hardware and use a custom version of software to make up for that. Questions about the ADS PYRO are pretty rare. Which in turn indicates… nothing
