I WAS ABLE TO BURN DVD'S AND BLU RAY DISCS WHEN I FIRST STARTED USING CREATOR 2009 BUT NOW I CAN'T BURN ANY MEDIA! VIDEO WAVE 11 ERROR BOX APPEARS STATING THAT IT STOPPED WORKING AND WINDOWS IS LOOKING FOR A SOLUTION (YEAH RIGHT) AND THE PROGRAM CLOSES. THIS PRODUCT IS TERRIBLE. I'M USING WINDOWS VISTA PREMIUM WITH PLENTY OF DISC SPACE. ANY SUGGESTIONS OUT THERE? ALL DEVICE DRIVERS ARE UPDATED. I UNISTALLED CREATOR 2009 AND REINSTALLED. IT STILL SUCKS...THANKS FOR ANY SUGGESTIONS...

My suggestion - turn of the CapsLock and stop shouting"
So what have you changed or updated since it worked and now?

You are posting inBurning Issues but state that VW has stopped working. VW does not do burning except indirectly through myDVD. Please give some more details on what exactly you are doing.

Thanks for your help DG. I'm angry that's why the caps and besides I can see what I'm typing better. I know videowave is in mydvd. I am just trying to burn tivo programs ( non protected ) to blu-ray or dvd +R media. Also, video convert dosen't work anymore either, the videowave 11 error appears with that too. I tried burning with and without menus. It dosen't work now. it worked for about 20 dvd's copies and 1 blu ray dvd when I first installed the creator 2009 software. thanks!

You need to do the Clean Install – Vista

FYI: VideoWave is a program and MyDVD is a program. You can reach an editor while in MyDVD but it is not "VideoWave"… Edit in VideoWave – Author in MyDVD.

It shouldn't be a problem in Creator 2009 but was in earlier versions - are you using a registry cleaner? If so which one?

Guru, I did the clean install as you sugessted and it appeared that my Roxio creator 2009 was working fine until the end of the dvd burning process when the following error appeared: Failed to start the image writing operation Error while  Burning Image 80004003 Error while  Aborting. It had the same error when I did a dvd burning a second time with save disc image. Ugh! What's next? Thanks for your time and help....

THis may be a dumb response...

As it hapens to affect at least several users at the same time when it worked fine before hand, how about a WINDOWS UPDATE ISSUE?
