See-thru Text Over Video?

I've used Kari's trick of showing video inside of text in a Videowave production but to do it you have to create the text object in Photosuite and use the chroma key to "open" the text.  I've been trying to find a way to create an outline-only text and use it as an overlay over video, i.e., as a title over a moving background.  No luck so far, anybody done this? unsure.gif

Not directly, but some people have had success with animated text using Corel Xara and importing that as a clip

I'll check out Corel, though I was hoping to not have to buy another app to do this.  Thanks for the tip.

I got the trial version yesterday but so far it doesn't seem to work well with EMC10.  Have you used it with EMC?
