Is it possible to capture streaming video from the internet and save it to a file on your pc? Let's say for example, from NetFlix.com, or from another web site that streams video or movies.

Are there certain internet video streams I can capture and others that cannot be saved?

No unless the web site says you can do it and you use their software.

Of course, those that are DRM protected cannot be copied; others can. Commercial movies cannot; it is illegal.

Try Qflix and Venue.
