I am trying to re-do a previous project using the same video clips. Now when I start a new production and try to the add the files as before I get an error message saying one or more files selected can not be edited and has not been added. When I double click on the files from my hard drive where they are stored they play just fine. My project is due Monday and the previous version was stored in the wrong format and I want a crisp version from the production.

What version of the software do you have, and what program, in the suite are you using? What kind of files are they?
If you are using Creator 2009, then please use the full name, because EMC 9 is a suite that came out 2 versions ago. Roxio decided to make things confusing, with their new naming system.
Life is good!

I'm using Video Wave from EMC9. The files are .mpg files that I shot using a Sony HD camcorder. I used the files to create my original project, but I wanted to create an alternate version using the same files and that's when I got that error message. Then I attempted to edit my original production to remove all captions and add narration, and it wouldn't pull the clips back into to the storyboard either.
Do you think copying them and them batch changing them to another file format would help? It's just my luck that I deleted them from the camera the same day I decided to do this.
