Whenever I try to activate Sonic CinePlayer, after entering the activation code, I get an error with a request to enter a proxy server.  I have worked with my IT department and they have tried every proxy server they can think of, but nothing seems to work.  After this failure, I have to option of sending an email to Roxio, and I have sent several, but there has not been any response beyond the automated response from support@roxio.com.  This has been going on for months.  Can someone help me?

Seems to be that this supplier does not reply to requests for assistance. Takes your money but accepts no further responsibility

dry.gif I have the same problem.  Installed CinePlayer yesterday and can't get it to recognize the activation code.  Did put in a ticket for help yesterday but they're probably all off for the holiday.  The online chat was useless.  Does anyone out there know how to get around that?  Maybe there's a delay (i.e., 24 hrs.) before the activation code is recognized?  I downloaded it instead of ordering CD.  Any suggestions from current users?  Sure would appreciate your help ... thanks very much!

Additional comment:  Just found the "key" that they want entered in order to activate the software.  If you go to the email that was sent to you confirming your order, scroll down past your address info to the product info.  There you will see "Key" and a very long number there with numbers and letters.  Copy that into the activation window and you should be ok.  Hope it works for you!  Just did it and am finally activated!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Just hope that it doesn't freeze on me now........

Edited to get post out of the quote.
