I have Roxio Photosuite Platinum 7. Up til now, I haven't had too much trouble with it. I'm BEGGING for some help please. I've had no luck whatsoever getting help through the Roxio website. My problem isn't addressed anywhere that I can find, and I can't get through to any technical support. It is EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING. When I go to my Photosuite Home, and click on email photos, and then try to send the photos using my default mail client (Outlook Express), and I click on "format photos as HTML message", the software opens a useless email in my Outlook Express. This email is useless because it cannot be sent. There is no where on it to put in "To:", there is no "From:". There is "Reply", "Reply All", and "Forward". It says "From: Sender Unspecified" and "To: none". This software has never done this before, and I have no idea why it is doing so now. One day it worked like it has always worked, the next day it started doing this. I checked my Internet Options in Outlook Express, and it is set for HTML messages. Is there some setting that needs to be changed?? If I uncheck the "format photos as HTML message", then it will open a normal email in Outlook Express, with the pictures as attachments. I do NOT understand why it is doing this! I also keep getting notifications that I have updates to install, but every time I try to install them, it will not work. Then 20 minutes later it tells me there are updates to install again. ANNOYING to say the least. ANY help that anyone can give me would be VERY MUCH APPRECIATED. I am at a loss as to how else I can get this resolved. Roxio really needs to work on their system for customer support on technical issues, because the way it is now STINKS.

The first step would be to look for viruses and malware on your computer. This can wreak havoc with all kinds of programs.
Does this happen with all photos or just recent ones? Open an older one that you have sent before and see if you can send it to yourself. Have you recently changed your image file properties to a higher resolution or format? Also, have you recently changed your screen resolution or your display font from 96 dpi ?
Why don't you want to send as attachments? Some people may not want to wait for the images to load when they open the e-mail. They may want to see what you wrote and see the attachments later.
As for the updates, I didn't think there were any recent ones. The last one that is available for the standalone is dated 2004. I know you have downloaded the update but did you really install it? You may want to look at the full version number to see it it has really been updated. the update error may have happened because of malware or a problem with your registry. Have you run any registry cleaners recently?
