I just tried using Sonic MyDVD 6.2 that came on my HP laptop 2 years ago. I spent 2 hours creating a slideshow of wedding photos to send to our parents for Christmas. Tried to save the project and burn some DVDs and nothing happens. Click on "File > Save" and "File > Save As..." and the "Save Project" link under Project Tasks on the right. Any of the buttons does absolutely nothing. A brief change of the mouse pointer to an hourglass, then back to normal and nothing has occurred. No dialog box or anything allowing me to save. Tried check registry settings for bad save location paths, but no luck. Everything there was fine, and when I changed it to a simple folder on the root C drive that didn't help either.
Please, please can someone help. I don't want to lose 2 hours of work!!!
Thanks,
Derek

I realize this may be too late for you now, but do you have IE7 and/or WMP 11 installed? Both of those cause problems with the older Sonic/Roxio programs.
If you do, you can find info in the linked post for rolling them back to compatible versions with your software.
