Can A Mac Open A Cd Compiled By Record Now

Am trying to send a pdf file to a friend, I have a PC, she has a Mac, can the Mac read the pdf file burned by Record Now on a Windows machine.

If you make a CD using the built-in Windows burning ability and check the box to 'make readable on all computers', or if you make a RecordNow Data Disc on CD or DVD and finalize it, it should not be a prosblem.
DO NOT FORMAT the disc. It won't be compatible - in fact, it's not even a safe way to archive data.

Email the PDF file to your friend
It's much simpler, cheaper, quicker, and foolproof.

Thanks for the advice, will try to burn the CD again
The pdf file is 14Meg a lot to swallow!

That can be a bit much for a mailbox if you don't use a filehosting site like Rapidshare - even moreso if you only have dialup.

This all takes into account that the Mac has Adobe Reader on it.
