I have a Panasonic SD9, when I import the file from the SD card, it always states that Roxio needs to make the file into a format to edit. When I then go to view the file or edit the file there is no Audio.

Regards
Andy

Not sure you need to import. With my sdhc cards, I just copy from the card reader drive to the pc hard drive.

The files are MTS or M2ts files and I have got software with the camcorder which allows me to change the MTS files to MPEG2, which seems pointless as this will reduce the quality?

I thought Roxio would be able to read the files and not have to convert them??

Thanks
Andy

If you are planning to burn the video to a DVD it has to be converted to mpeg which is the only format compatible with DVD players. So it is not pointless rolleyes.gif
