I just purchased Creator 2009. I have had issues with it from the beginning. I installed the program as instructed. I tried to use video capture and received runtime errors. I un-installed it. Unable to do a clean install because of a runtime issure with downloading the Windows Installer Cleanup. (never had an issue with this until I installed Creator 2009). Went thru normal program uninstall and then reinstalled Creator 2009. Now instead of having runtime issue with video capture, it begins then error out. (Capture error).
Now my computer reboots by itself.....HELP!!!
system specs:
Dell XPS 400
3G Ram
Windows Vista Ultimate 32bit
over 78G hard drive space available.

Please advise as to how to handle these issues.
Thanks
Mel

If you are having runtime errors with the MS Cleanup Utility - there is something wrong with your OS.

MSICUU is not a Roxio program and nothing in Creator can affect it - it's a MS application and, if that is causing problems in the MS OS, then the problem is a Microsoft one

You also say that you 'never had an issue with this until I installed Creator 2009' Are you talking about downloading or running MSICUU?
If it ain't broke, fiddle with it until it breaks, then fiddle with it until you get it fixed

Yes. I did not have a problem downloading or running msicuu.exe, before installing Creator 2009.

Yes, if you get the uninstall squared away, the next time you install, disable your anti-virus, and any other programs that you have running at startup. That works every time. wink.gif
