Hello
I am importing from my old VHS taperecorder some videotapes.
All is going well, I can see the picture and hear the sound.
But after a while I see that the lips are moving and after some time the audio follows.
This increases the longer the video is importing.
A am using the USB and Roxio Media Imort.
My PC is running Vista.
Is there a patch for this?
Id this question has been asked before, sorry but I have done several searches but did not hfound the topic.

Capture in 10 minute increments. It reduces the possible OOS problems.

What USB? The has to be an Analog to Digital converter between your tape and the PC…
If the sound is off during capture from that device, it is not relevant. Check the captured file after it is completed…
Even then, a low end PC will have trouble yet produce a DVD Movie that is fine. Use some DVD RW media for testing (it is reusable).
