I have an HP that came with a cd/dvd writer HP300n which came with Sonic record now 6.0
I decided to upgrade to Roxio record now 10.0. during the setup it instructed me to uninstall my old program. Now when I try to record a cd it never finishes and I get an error message and told to put in a new cd and retry. No matter how many times I've retried it never is able to finish the job. Once I got to the next to last track and then got the error. I also tried recording one track it got to 98% completed and bombed. I tried to update my firmware and when I tried that I got an error that said I need to reinstall Sonic record now 6.0. Am I screwed or is there a way to fix this. I'm using Imation CDR's is that the problem?
