I have a G4 (OS10.4.11), plextor px-716uf, roxio toast 6.0.3 lite, fujifilm dvd-rw (for data and video). I can download to the desktop, but toast won't let me download to video (get the "unsupported format and cannot be imported"). It let's me download to "data", but my DVD player can't read those. Is it a software problem or a hardware problem? Toast let's me drag images to video, but no matter which video/tv/movie download I drag , I get the same error message. Thanks.

My bet is it is a software issue. First, you should go to the Roxio software updates page and get the Toast Lite 6.1 update. Second, I don't recall what the limitations were for Toast Lite vs the full version but I don't think Toast 6 Lite can encode video DVDs.
I'm just a fellow Toast-user so please don't blame Roxio for any misguidance I may provide. And do let me know if your issue gets solved. Cheers from Eugene, Oregon!
