My question is what is the best MP3 player or IPOD that will allow me to input a playlist that I created and saved as a Disc Image into a player and have it not be read is one large single track.

I would expect any device to treat a sd2f file as a single track if it could read it at all.
It's been a long time since I used Toast 5 but I think you can add the .sd2f to the Toast 5 Audio panel, select the individual tracks that are listed and export them as separate AIFF tracks for import to iTunes or some other application that can encode MP3 audio files.

I'm just a fellow Toast-user so please don't blame Roxio for any misguidance I may provide. And do let me know if your issue gets solved. Cheers from Eugene, Oregon!
