I have a group of Sony DVD-R dvd's of family home movies--These dvd's were made by transferring video from VHS tapes to these Sony DVD-R dvd's--I'm want to import these dvd's into Apple's iMovie (I'm using MacBookPro w/latest version of Leopard) so I can edit them and then save them on new DVD's and on portable hard drives--I just purchased Popcorn3 yesterday--What is the best way to do this? Here are some questions I have:
1. How do I first check the video quality on the DVD-R dvd's?
2. Do I first need to rip video using Popcorn3 then import ripped video into iTunes before I import into iMovie? If so, can you give me a step-by-step tutorial on how best to do this?
