I have owned this program for about a year but there are several parts of the program that do not open. I receive error notice " Roxio Sound Editor has encountered a problem and needs to close", I have used the My DVD program and the CD maker program. i have a Roxio help ticket and I followed the instructions to Update to the latest version of Direct X, Updated my audio driver and I still cannot open the programs. If anyone has a solution, I would like to here.

Sounds like a repair of your install (from Control Panel) or a Clean install is called for.
