I have a Dell Dimensions 4550 that came with VideoWave Movie Creator
When I try to run it it comes up with an error
"Video Wave Movie Creator Cannot run, because some required files are missing, Please re-install Video Wave Movie-creator"

I have re-installed until I'm blue in the face and the same thing happens every time

I spotted a thread further down about disabling networks ( WIFi in my case ) Ad-Aware SE and various virus packages, which I have done,. removed, re-installed and its just the same  :)

It goes right through the installation, asks for the 2nd disk and so on
Help anyone please ?

Cheers
Steve

Sometimes bits of the program remain that can cause problems.   Uninstall the program, then try running roxiozap, but follow the directions because it will remove all traces of the program.  http://tools.roxio.c...ols/roxizap.exe

You're welcome.

That suggestion originally came from Roxio when I was having trouble reinstalling a couple of years ago.

Glad you're up and running. :)

Hi,

I have a Dell Dimensions 4600 that came with VideoWave Movie Creator.

Last year I had a system crash and had to re install windows XP.

I managed to re-install the program but when I click Easy Capture it doesn't detect my capture card.

Is there a driver i'm missing.

Can you capture with Windows XP Movie Maker?

My guess would be that you're missing a Dell Capture Card Driver.    Try the Dell Website to see if they have the original drivers available.
