Tv Safe Zone

is the tv safe zone indicative of how the dvd images will appear on ALL tv's or just some? will widescreen tvs not cut off as much?

I would some as most TVs will be a bit different.  Correct, HDTV do have smaller overscan, but still cut off a little bit.
