I got to where you said to go to but do I need to make the clips a head of time? How do you make the sub menue then creat the chapters. This is not as easy as my 7 program.

To be a little clearer all I see is Add Movie. In 8 all I had to do was play the edited version and make my chapters. I am confused how 2009 works.
Thanks for you hellp in advance,

Right click on thumbnail on the menu page then select Edit Chapters from the menu that appears. In the Edit Chapters window create your chapters manually or automatically. Make sure the checkbox is checked to Create Chapter Menus and then hit Ok. The menu and links is automatically created as well as any navigation buttons.

As far as a Video project from start to finish, take a look at Tips & Tricks for a Topic on Strategy.
And for your info, this version works the same as your previous version.

I tried what you said but all it does is highlight the picture. I have Roxio 2009. This is what I did.
I finished the video with the edits andf fading in and outs.
I select Menu Style
I select Adventure and it uses a picture from my video.
I right click on the picture and all it does is highlight the picture.
I right click on the words that would start the movie and it only shows delete
I right click on the title and it only highlights that.
I right click on the background and I only see Add A New Movie which all it does ins adds from raw footage instead of putting chapters on edited video. CHange Menue Back ground and the last thing it shows is Change Menu Style.
I can't figure why they made this version either without the chapter feature or so complicated. Please let me know is you have any thing else.
Thank you again,

All you do is right click on that button and a popup selection appears.
Pick Edit Chapters. It has been this way in every version since V7.
In this shot I have added 5 movie clips – Dates 1; Dates 2; Dates 3; Dates 5 & Movie 1.
I right clicked on Dates 3.

How do you think you did chapters before?

It looks like user error. That chapter option is there. When I highlight, then right click on the title that was made, when I brought in my movie, I get the following screen.

First, update the drivers for you video card. If you still see the same thing, then it looks like you have a bad install, in which case, follow the clean install instructions, here:

We have been telling you to use MyDVD and you are using MyDVD Express…
Left side at the bottom is a button for Edit in MyDVD – click it!
How does that work?
