Just finished burning a slideshow on DVD. Playing the DVD on my Denon DVD player through my TV, the image flutters when there is a horizontal pan. Is this due to the TV or is there another problem?

Does it flutter on the computer? If not, possibly the TV or DVD player

I do not notice the flutter on the computer display. I wondered if it was related to the TV and its scanning rate.

Did you try with a different DVD player?
Regardless of what I say about computer maintenance, there is no need to defrag a solid state hard drive.

I'm just wondering if this problem was solved. I imported a movie from my DV recorder. The AVI files don't show any fluttering when I watch them on the PC. I also created a DVD with another program with no fluttering. I've tried twice using 2009 and have had the flutter issue both times. I'm not sure if there are settings in the encoding I should change or another problem. Thanks for any help. FYI, the flutter does appear on the TV or the PC when viewing the DVD. I also see it on the preview before I burn.

Then you don't have the same problem as outerbank. Read Post #3 of this thread.
