I just upgraded from version 6 (platinum). Does 2009 not come with Drag-To-Disc?

That is correct, it was dropped in EMC 10 and that continues with 2009.

Vista has its' own packet writer built in so the extra program conflicted and was redundant.

That great...for people that use Vista. Do you know if I can just reinstall the version of drag-to-disc that comes with creator 6? I bought 2009 because I just bought a DL burner, which of course, 6 doesn't support. Do you know if the drag-to-disc will support it? If not, I see that Roxio will selling DLA for under $20. Do you know if that version supports dual-layer?

Thanks for your time!

XP also has its own built in drag and drop software, but instead of packet writing it uses the safer sessions writing

Yes, I know this. I don't like it. I always liked Drag-to-disc better. I also like it better than OnCD.

Thanks.

According to the Overview page for DLA, yes it supports DL discs.

Ah, Thank you! I can believe I missed that, and it was right in front of my face.

Well, I hope it works well. Trying to run drag-to-disc from v6 with 2009 and does not work.
