I've seen references to this question being covered eons ago, but Search no longer brings it up.
What is the purpose of the ROXIOPLASMA directory that is included on every DVD? It contains 3 files: metadata.dat, plasmadata.dat, and projectdata.dmsd (which is *not* an exact copy of the .dmsd for the originating project.)
Could it be safely eliminated, if one needed that last 1.6MB?
Just curious.

Yes. The ONLY folder needed for a video DVD is the video_ts folder.
