When I create an output mpg file, I cannot play it with Media Player. I get an error about sound card. I ONLY get this error when I create something with Roxio. If I create it with anything else, it is fine.

Any Ideas??

Do you have the full version of Easy Media Creator 9 or a OEM version that came with a piece of hardware?

What application are you using in the version you have?

It would be a big help if you posted the text of the error and the information on your sound device. Could be anything from missing codecs to an audio device needing an driver update to one that will not handle the bit rate of the outputted (?) mpg2. Also what is the source of the original video file? Certain mov files may need some adjustment in order to handle the audio.

What other program are you using to create the mpg2 file? There is a commercial product that will handle the mono output of some types of mov files. I was just wondering if you were using that?
