O.S. Vista Home Premium(x64)
4 Gig Ram
Asus P5Ke MB

While installing Creator 2009se I get
This version of windows requires signed drivers:

Driver: Decrypetion and Decompression
Service: RxFilter
Publisher: Sonic Solutions
Loc: c:\windows\system32\...\RxFilter.sys

It appears as if creator installed, however I do have some issues.

What say, hive mind??

Also how can I contact customer support?

I feel your pain.  I too have been trying to solve this problem with no luck.  I have tried booting with F8 to disable digital signed requirement to no avail.  I have even gone so far as to manually edit and delete any reference Roxio in my registry.  Again, no good.

The number for support is 877-769-4601

Please post with your progress (or lack thereof) in fixing this problem.  I'll do the same . . .

Are you trying to fix it or destroy all working parts of Roxio and uninstall it from your system?

My ultimate goal would be to have Roxio Creator 2009 installed and working.  I have tried to fully removed Roxio from my system before attempting to re-install in order to remove the "bad" installation as a variable affecting the problem.

BTW: I just got off the phone with Roxio Tech Support and was told that the fix to the digitally signed driver issue is to find and rename the file RxFilter.sys.  Unfortunately, I cannot find that file on my system.  According to the error message it should be somewhere in the Windows System32 folder.  I doesn't appear to be there, which puts me back at square one.  :-(

check in system32\drivers (which is where it should be)

Also, it's a VERY bad idea to remove all Roxio entries from the registry - just remove the ones specified. You are in danger of totally disabline the built-in burning app in the OS wink.gif
If it ain't broke, fiddle with it until it breaks, then fiddle with it until you get it fixed
