Need Emc 10 Before Install Of 2009? Error Message

During install of creator 2009 I get an error message stating the following "EMC11 content - you must install Roxio easy media creator 10 before installing content". WTF?? Do I really need to buy this before I move forward??

I have had exactly the same problem and Roxio Support have not been very helpful

Looking For A Refund.
