Encoding Movie gets stuck at 96%

When I select burn, I get the burn project dialogue box. The preview is always
a static gray image (I assume smart rendering?) The progress bar for encoding movie
consistently gets to 96% and then gets stuck.
The MyDVD project is a No Menu project, 1 movie with chapters. When playing the
preview on the computer it plays fine.
Kind of stuck for things to look at on the one to determine what I should be looking at trying
to resolve this issue.
System is a
P4 3GHZ, 1Gig Ram, WinXP Home SP2 with EMC 8.05 (downloaded version).
Thanks
Jim

It looks like there is something wrong in the production, towards the end. It could be something simple, like a transition.
Do you have a combination of video files and photos?

And you say that you have tried to save it JUST to an ISO file, and the same thing happens? That is strange.
It may take some time, but do a test project in VideoWave. Take that same video into VideoWave, and cut out the last 10% of the video, and see if you can get it to burn to an ISO, without it cutting out on you.
Editing it out will do nothing to the original video file.

Seems like something in the source mpg was causing a problem. I reimported the source from disc and tried writing an ISO and that completed successfully. I'll add the chapters again and see if it works.
