I just purchased ECM 8 Suite for my HP Media Centre system.
I am having trouble capturing A/V signal from my VCR.
The error says  Capture failed , unable to set up graph ?

However the WINDVD software that came with the unit works OK.

Can anyone help?

Bob

Use the software that came with your capture card.  Unless you are connected via firewire, EMC 8 is not going to capture.

I don't consider that a quirk.  I have not had problems with version 8, but I don't use it for my video editing.  I still use version 7.5 for that, because the encoding is superior to version 8.

I use version 8 for all other things that I do with the software.
