Has anyone figured out how to import MPG-2 video so that DVDit Pro HD does not transcode it again?

I'm using Sony Vegas and rendering the video using the DVD Architect Profile for an NTSC DVD.  I've checked the rendered video to make sure that the bit rate and GOP length is in compliance and it is, but DVDit insists on transcoding it twice.
