hellow im new here, i just bought my new apple powerbook 15' and im using roxio toast 6 for burning movies, but i cant burn the problem is "the disk cannot contain both pal ntsc and pal media" whats the meaning of this?

NTSC and PAL are the major TV broadcast standards in the world. If you live in the US you are watching NTSC TV. For a list of other countries' formats go to this page: NTSC & PAL.

Presuming you are in the U.S. it is very unlikely you can play PAL video on your DVD player or TV. Toast 7 can convert those formats from one to the other, but Toast 6 cannot. Another application that can convert the format is MPEG2 Works 4.
