Need Help Installing 5 Platinum To Win/xp

Please Help!!!  I just upgraded to win/xp home ed. and I have roxio easy cd creator 5 platinum. and when I tried to run easy cd creator it was working. but when it was time to shut down my computer it would just restart I couldn't shut the computer off.

Please clarify....you say "ECDC was working",  does that mean you used one or two application's and everything was ok, and were able to close down , then one day you could not close down.

Did you install ECDC 5 onto XP, or did you "upgrade" XP over the top of your previous operating system?
P4 @3.20GHz on Albatron PX-865PE Pro II with 2GB DDR-SDRAM, FX5900XT video, Viewsonic monitors,
BENQ DW1640, in XP Pro and Windows 7

I blame it all on Global Warming / Global Cooling / Global Staying the Same  [pick one]
