Copy the files from the disc to a folder on the hard drive and run setup from there.
If the files fail to copy, you have a bad disc

If it ain't broke, fiddle with it until it breaks, then fiddle with it until you get it fixed

I put the files on the hard drive and it still will not install because it can't find the file "Data1.cab"
I can see the file it is under "EMC100". I was wondering if someone could post the file here and I could copy it and replace my file "Data1.cab"? I don't think that would be illegal since I bought the program.
Could someone do this for me please? Or if this fourm has private mail you could send it to me that way. I don't want to post my e mail address because I don't want a lot of spam.
Thanks Gary

That file is 423 MB and there's no way that could be posted here or even e-mailed.
If setup.exe can't read it, there's something seriously wrong on your computer (or the files are corrupted)
What you could try is to log on manually to the software updates and download the 10.1 update - that should be complete and try installing that (that is presuming you did register the program to get access to the updates)

I unistalled the program and then reinstalled it and this time it installed perfectly. The only trouble now is it will not run when I click on it.
Any thoughts on why this is. I also have version 8 on my computer and it comes right up. When I click on version 10 I get an hourglass and then nothing. It used to work.

Completely remove both programs - follow this guide to the letter (and don't add or skip anything)

Then re-install 10 (8 was flaky anyway)
