Hello,
I have recently burned a mydvd project to a DVD+R disc because my older dvd player for the television would not read RW's.
Everything works great. All the chapters run, all of the slide shows play.

One problem.
Part of my DVD is a 40 minute movie production. I have it broken into about 6 chapters.
Here's the problem.
I can easily select any chapter to start the movie.

However,
If I wanted to stop the movie, let's say to return to the chapter menu or the opening menu, I can't. The DVD remote control menu key or title key on my samsung dvd player just gives me the red circle with line through it.

THE ONLY WAY TO GET OUT OF THE MOVIE IS TO SUPER FAST FORWARD TO THE END.
Is there anyway to get the menu key on the dvd working, or is it possibly my dvd player, or is it how I am burning the dvd?

Thank you very much for all responses....

Does it play properly, including menus and chapters, on system player? Have you played it on another DVD player?
Its impossible to tell if you set up the menu correctly or burned the DVD properly since you have given no imformation about that at all.

Yes, it plays properly, including the menus, chapters, chapter selection, etc...I have not tried it on another DVD yet (Good point). It appears to have burned fine with no errors.
I can go through all the menus for the movie production and through all the menus for the slide show as well.

I was just hoping there would be a way to interrupt the movie production to return to the main menu.
I tried someone else's recommendation about selecting "chapter menu" instead of title action something.... at the end of each chapter, but that did nothing.

I definitely need to try it in another dvd player.

Think about what you are seeing and compare it with a commercial DVD Movie…

If you select a Chapter in a Movie, it plays from that Chapter to the End of the DVD. That is expected behavior!

Look at your remote – should find a button for Menu and maybe one for Top Menu. Press one of them.
