Hi,

Looking for help from someone with a bit more knowledge than me (not sayin' much!)

I'm trying to install AVG 8.0 Anti-virus software, but it keeps telling me there's a problem as I have an outdated version of Roxio DVD & CD Creator and need to upgrade/patch this first.  I am lost here, folks.  I have no idea whicvh version of Roxio is in my machine (must be pre-installed), but my PC is an Advent T9106, Intel P4 HT processor 630 3 GHZ, 250 GB HDD, 512MB DDR2 (I know, I know, I kep meaning to do something about it, but...), operating Windows XP SP3.

Anyone know how I fix this?

Yep,

AVG is a notoriously bad AV program, and it also gets its toga in a tangle about the old version of CDR4.

Roxio has released a new version of that module, and you can download it HERE. Even AVG can't complain about the new one.
