I had no trouble installing what is on disk1.  I inserted the disk and the setup program took off and began as expected.  However, the setup program never asked for disk2.  It just told me that it was done and wanted to reboot after the contents of disk1 was installed.

Is this normal?

What do I need to do to install what is on disk2?

If you have Creator 2009, reboot, after the main program install, then put in the second disc, and it should run, automatically.

I tried that but I get a message telling me to go to the control panel and install and configure system components.

Any ideas???

I am at work right now and don't have access to the machine in question.

Roxio Creator 2009 Ultimate.  Mine came with two disks in the box.  They are labeled disk 1 and disk 2.

I can provide more detailed information after I get home tonight.

Did you try running any of the programs, after you installed the first disc?

Sorry I did not get back sooner, but I have had "one of those weekends".

Anyway, I feel like such a dolt.  I reinserted disk 2 and when it gave the errormessage again, I opened it with windows explorer.  The autorun file is supposed to run setup.exe.  I double clicked on that program and it took off and it appears to have installed what was on that disk.  (SoundSoap SE and SONICFIRE PRO).

All seems well, I have burned a data and a music cd.  A quick trip to the LightScribe website to download the latest software and drivers and I was able to burn a LightScribe labeled disk.

Thanks to all who responed.

You are welcome.

The reason the software didn't ask you to insert the second disc is, the second disc contains the standalone programs you just mentioned.  They have nothing to do with the operation of the Creator 2009 suite.
