I'm just looking for a basic CD copying program and would like to get something from Roxio. Would the Music Lab 10 work for that?

Depends on what you want to copy. None of the Roxio programs will let you copy CD's that are copied protected. However if you just want to copy CD's (music Data, DVD's etc.) that are not copied protected, then Roxio EMC 9, 10 and the newest "C2009" will do a fine job.

You might try contacting Roxio Customer Service - check the right-hand column:
http://www.roxio.com/enu/support/service/

It is probably not necessary to get the entire EMC 9 or 10, or Creator 2009, if all you want to do is copy CDs. Then again, WinXP can do it without help (data or music), depending on what you want to copy..

Yes, it should work fine for you. No need to contact Support, and much cheaper than Creator 2009. Here's the interface . . From the Home App, Copy > Copy disc
