Hello -

I'd like some advice on how I should handle the following registry errors flagged by CCleaner, immediately after installing Creator 10 and its associated updates:

Unused File Extension ITIClient.Document HKCR\ITIClient.Document
Unused File Extension NoRemove HKCR\NoRemove
Missing TypeLib Reference IVideoAudioItemEx - {D6C154AB-303D-44D3-B26D-8643E4E38B08} HKCR\Interface\{0924D67D-3449-4D95-8671-ECEFBBA89507}
Missing TypeLib Reference IAPSTranscodeCallback - {D6C154AB-303D-44D3-B26D-8643E4E38B08} HKCR\Interface\{0C1638D1-EB92-4808-A7AE-212FCAFCECF1}
Missing TypeLib Reference ICPSCommandDispatcher - {E087BA33-AE65-45CE-B07F-B07F6A681FE2} HKCR\Interface\{0C2CB7FD-BBBD-4A75-AA34-25E2659C574D}
Missing TypeLib Reference IPSCommonWizard - {E087BA33-AE65-45CE-B07F-B07F6A681FE2} HKCR\Interface\{0F2398A8-1BBC-4E8A-897F-DCB7CAC392B4}
Missing TypeLib Reference IAPSTransferManagerCallback - {D6C154AB-303D-44D3-B26D-8643E4E38B08} HKCR\Interface\{475D277C-8240-4796-B745-2600D223A8A7}
Missing TypeLib Reference IMyDVDImporter - {64B9B01B-2D33-4EB0-A75C-ED60EA3D3566} HKCR\Interface\{557F225E-E4E6-4894-BF97-4242F7834B29}
Missing TypeLib Reference IDvdTranscode - {61522533-3E15-419C-B079-CBD8F904888D} HKCR\Interface\{80C1E6A8-FAE1-4C7F-9782-24FEC5CAE79D}
Missing TypeLib Reference IAPSTransferManager - {D6C154AB-303D-44D3-B26D-8643E4E38B08} HKCR\Interface\{AF854C7C-0AAE-4FC1-ABF8-58649D7D454A}
Missing TypeLib Reference IAPSTranscode - {D6C154AB-303D-44D3-B26D-8643E4E38B08} HKCR\Interface\{C2CC18D9-9C97-4804-A8AB-F3E213D95B13}

Some specifics:
1.) This is a fresh install of Windows XP Pro
2.) There are only a half dozen programs loaded at this point
3.) There are no Norton Products on the machine
4.) I'm using Avast anti-virus, and CCleaner for the registry checks.
5.) This is a fresh install of Creator 10
6.) As I install each program, I make sure to run a CCleaner registry check before and after installing  - I had a clean list before installing Creator 10, so I'm pretty confident that these are Creator related.

I realize that these don't have the same HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT preface as the dreaded Norton One button registry debacle, but thought it'd be easier to ask if I should delete these items, or mark them as "ignore" before I mess the installation up.

Thanks!

Paul Garcia

It never fails. I don't want to be the dipstick that asks the question that gets a pile of search or google links that the poster should have found in the first place.... so I seach, I google...... and end up overlooking something simple like the HKCR - HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT connection.

Color me embarrased.

Anyway, thanks for the recommendation.
