[Amateur]

First post here. I have used EMC8 and EMC10. I just purchased Creator 2009 today and started with a clean install (I removed all programs, etc. as recommended). I then used the install disk purchased from a retailer (Costco). The install went fine. I rebooted and then clicked on the desk top icon and received the message that there was a problem and it would not open. Ok, I restored my computer to a restore point and removed all of the Creator 2009 and tried to install. I got to the EMC11 Content and about half way through I got an Error Code: 0012. What is that?

Like others, I am frustrated. I do like the features of Roxio. In particular, I like the sub menu design for home video production. Also, the video capture is excellent.

I am running WindowsXP media edition.

I did a search for the error code and did not find it.
