I have an HP Pavillion dv 9000 that this software came installed on. It used to work and now does not.
I am getting an error when I try to make a dvd. It reads
Runtime error
Program...iles\Roxio\Roxio My Dvd basic V9\video UI
9\videowave9.exe
Application has requested runtime to termintate in an unusual way
If I have to do a clean install how do I reinstall it as I have to disc for the software?

You don't have Creator 2009 as there is no OEM version of that at the moment…
You will have to contact HP for a disc as a clean install is probably your only recourse and it was their responsibility to supply them.
If the version you have suits your needs then that is a good way to go…
If you find it wanting, consider this an opportunity to dump the junk and update to a Full Retail Suite! Check the system requirements to make sure you meet or better yet, exceed the minimums.
