I love working with EMC 7's motion pictures and was excited to see what EMC 8 had in store for this feature. What a letdown! I could not zoom in anywhere near to what I used to. This probably means that my EMC 7 projects would be materially affected if I was to open them under EMC 8. It was for this reason alone that I abandoned EMC 8 and built my new project back under EMC 7.

Then you must be doing something wrong. Manual and Advanced are much more flexible than V7 could ever be. This screen shot was just a quickie. I could zoom in even more.
Opening previous projects maybe not translate well anyway because of all the new features. You can have both versions installed at the same time if needed. Just install one version of Drag to Disc.
