I've been using Popcorn 2 for well over a year without problems, but suddenly the program begins to hang while filling RAM cache just prior to burning the physical media. The burner responds to Finder, but not to Popcorn 2 or Burn, so Apple tech support won't help me. Roxio sees Popcorn 2 as legacy software so also won't offer me tech support. I'd avoided upgrading to Popcorn 3 because I was fine with 2, but now it seems I need to upgrade just to get technical support.
Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions? Does Roxio offer decent support for Popcorn 3 (I don't know because I never had problems before)?
Any feedback is helpful, thank you!

Try choosing Save as Disc Image and then burn that to DVD using the Image File setting. One reason for burning not starting is the drive going to sleep waiting for the compression stage to end.
I'm just a fellow Toast-user so please don't blame Roxio for any misguidance I may provide. And do let me know if your issue gets solved. Cheers from Eugene, Oregon!
