Adding Tivo Shows To Convert

When I try to add a Tivo show under Video Compilation so I can convert it to download a DVD for viewing on my TV. It does not even show my file is available from the folder. Like it does not reconise the the .tivo ext.

Is it possible its protected? I think HBO has been doing that, but I don't know if that is a trend or not.

It was Obama's speech. So I don't believe it would of been protected.
