Hi,
Can anyone please tell me if Roxio or one of these forum members got ECDC5 working with XP Pro. There were issues with compatibility a good while ago---just wondered if all was well now.
I can't get on with Nero, and my bought copy of Creator9 is getting covered in dust.  Newer software is not always better---too many bells and whistles detract from ease of use, and ECDC5 was very easy- especially converting tracks to MP3.  I don't do digital pics, or much with dvd, so most of newer progs is wasted on me.
If ECDC5 is still not mates with XP, then I will have to get my old puter up and running with Win ME on it. I know that works with 5. Bit slow though.  mellow.gif
                                           Thanks,
                                                Greg

Hi Greg,

I've installed ECDC5 numerous times on clean XP systems. It goes well if installed the way I suggested.

Thanks Brendon,
I will get all the updates you described downloaded to my key drive. I will then wipe hard drive ( again  mellow.gif ) as I had let Ms updates install IE7 and WMP11.  With aolVR9 version not installed on puter either, I may stand a chance with ECDC5.
                                       Thanks for your help,
                                                   Greg
