After opening Photosuite 5 drag your mouse/cursor over the 'Edit & Ceate' button & then slide to the right over the 'Edit' button & 'click' on it. A window should now open up showing all your files/folders in 'My Documents' master folder. If 'My Documents' is not the default folder that shows up, go to the 'arrow tab' beside the dialog box & click on it to reveal all the folders etc. on your drive & click on the right one.
Below now should be all the sub-folders etc. in 'My Documents'. Click on the subfolder where your photo (s) are in or click on the individual photo if there is just one, to hilight it. Click 'open' & either the individual photo will appear & fill the entire screen ready to edit etc. or if you opened a sub-folder with many photos then you will have to hilight an individual photo & click 'open' again.
Note if your 'photo' has not been saved as a photo then it will not open & you should get an error message that the program (Roxio) can't open it or it is not a 'proper' file.
For example, I received a series of photos inside a series of PDF documents, but the program (Roxio) or any photo editing program will not/cannot open such a file. I had to print the photos, scan & save them as photos before I could edit them.
Hope that helps.
