I am attempting to install Creator 9 Deluxe Suite for the first time, and after an interminable wait rec'd Err1327.Invalid Drive:K:\
I don't have a K: drive.
Both my CD drive and DVD drive recognize the CONTENT disk, but tell me that the PROGRAM disk must be installed first. Of course, but I can't bypass the darn autorun and don't know why it's looking for a K: drive...

Yes, this is Creator 9 Deluxe. My wife got it for me months ago, we moved and the software pkg. got packed and misplaced. I just found it again, need it, and am trying to install it.....
Can't afford a new copy and don't need all the new foo-fraw and do-dads, just want to backup my work programs & burn a couple music cd's from what I have on my drive, nothing fancy...  Needless to say I am frustrated a all get out and Roxio doesn't seem to have help for this... Ggrrrrr...

any help would be appreciated.

Set up a temp folder anywhere on the hard drive and copy both CDs into that - (let it overwrite with the second) and then run setup.exe from that

If either won't copy, then you have a faulty disc
If it ain't broke, fiddle with it until it breaks, then fiddle with it until you get it fixed
