I am doing something wrong when I try to burn a movie I have made to a DVD. I have read the help info but still can't get it through my thick skull. I have edited my movie then saved it. I went to create DVD and thought I had loaded the movie but all I got was about 10 seconds of the first clip with very invigorating music playing. The saved as will only let me save it in "video Wave Production (*dmsm). If I double click the logo for what I have saved in my video's, it takes me back to the entire movie in the edit window. Any help would really be appriciated.
Thanks, Jack

Your dmsm file is not a video but only the instruction on how to create the video. To create the DVD, launch myDVD and using the Add option, add the dmsm file, authour your menu and then burn

It might help if you were to read the Tips & Tricks in these forum especially this excellent post

Thanks much for your comeback. I am sorry for sounding so stupid but I have read the post you referred to but I still don't see where I can get to the place where you can add the dmsm file. I went to the "my video" but don't see an Add option. This is all very new to me and I really am trying. I know the old story of a picture is worth a thousand words but I guess in my case it wasn't.

I don't know what you are referring to with "my video" since I did not mention that in my post. I said to launch myDVD (also called "Create DVDs - Advanced" if starting from the Roxio Home page.

I meant  "My DVD" not video. I think you have your hands full in trying to get me straightened out!

First, I want to make sure you have Roxio Creator 2009; that is where you posted.  Is that what you have?
